From Exposure to Implementation

The Hydrogen Transition Summit has been designed as a structured three-day programme that guides participants through the complete collaboration journey—from understanding the hydrogen ecosystem and building relationships, to exchanging knowledge and initiating practical partnerships.

While the Summit itself takes place on 24 September 2026, an extended programme has been developed for the Indian Hydrogen Delegation to maximise opportunities for business engagement, institutional collaboration, and knowledge exchange. Together, the three-day format provides participants with technical insight, strategic dialogue, and structured opportunities to explore long-term cooperation.

Day 1

Site Visits

The opening day is dedicated to participants joining the Indian Hydrogen Delegation and is designed to provide first-hand exposure to Germany's hydrogen and industrial innovation ecosystem.

Delegates will visit selected industrial facilities, research laboratories, and innovation organisations in the Burghausen region to gain practical insight into hydrogen applications, industrial decarbonisation, manufacturing, applied research, and regional innovation. These visits are intended to establish context for the Summit while creating opportunities for direct interaction with industry experts, researchers, and institutional stakeholders.

The programme concludes with a networking dinner, offering delegates an opportunity to connect with fellow participants, organisers, and invited guests in an informal setting ahead of the Summit.

Day 2

Hydrogen Transition Summit

The second day represents the principal gathering of the Hydrogen Transition Summit, bringing together participants from across industry, government, academia, research, investment, and the innovation ecosystem.

The Summit programme combines strategic dialogue with technical exchange through keynote presentations, expert panel discussions, thematic sessions, and technology showcases. Parallel programme tracks enable participants to explore topics aligned with their interests while encouraging interdisciplinary interaction across the hydrogen value chain.

The final day is dedicated to transforming dialogue into practical collaboration.

Through a series of curated meetings and focused engagement sessions, participants will have opportunities to explore business partnerships, research cooperation, institutional collaboration, technology transfer, and future joint initiatives.

The programme places particular emphasis on facilitating engagement between organisations from Germany and India while welcoming broader international participation.

Meetings will be organised according to participant interests and organisational profiles submitted during registration.
